The openJDK BOF was interesting. It was getting into some pretty low level discussion on building and modifying the JDK, so it was a little out of my area of focus.

JavaOne 2010 Keynote

This incorporated much of the information contained in the initial presentation on Java 7. However, it also covered more information on Java EE 6 and Java ME.

JavaOne 2010 - Helping Doctors and Rescue Workers in the Field, Using JavaFX

This session was presented by Eric Smith at Burning Sun Enterprises. Eric demonstrated some JavaFX mock ups using techniques for identity management in the field.

JavaOne 2010 - Taking Java to the Sky: Cloud Computing 2010 Expert Panel

This session consisted of a panel of technical experts from various cloud platform vendors. It included representatives from Amazon EC3, salesforce.com, Oracle and Microsoft.

JavaOne 2010 - JDK 7 and Java SE 7

This session was presented by Mark Rienhold  http://blogs.sun.com/mr/ .. the chief architect for the Java Platform at Oracle.

JavaOne 2010 - User Group Un-Conference

To start off the week I attended the Java User Group sessions at Moscone South conference rooms. It was a very relaxed and informal introduction to the conference.
