The Relationship Development System (RDS) has been built specifically to manage the relationship between an organisation and its contacts. It provides mechanisms to receive messages sent to the organisation and route them to the appropriate people within the organisation. This is the core purpose of RDS. On top of this, RDS has been designed to act as a platform that can be extended to provide supporting services around this communication between an organisation and it's contacts. Currently RDS supports email, SMS, letter, phone and live chat messaging.

RDS is built using J2EE / Spring technology on the server side, with an Adobe Flex/AIR client. The project was commissioned by CVC International Ltd to support it's global media network.
