Just installed ubuntu 11.10 on my home media center. So far it's much improved from 11.04. There's a heap of nice new features and it just seems a lot more polished. Thank God they finally got rid of the old gnome-login system. There are a few little issues I've encoutered, but there's a good post here on how to tweak a few things. Not able to change the desktop font size ... wtf
