Didn't rename the functions that conflict with Scorpio? :(

Jason,

Great work on this. I have started playing with it and intend to use it on the very types of projects you use it for.

A feature I plan on building in is a checkbox that allows you to turn off the display of the news on per page basis. I'll send in my changes when I'm done. How about making this a project on RIA Forge so that we can consolidate all things ByteSpring there?

Josen

Jason,

RIA Forge is for everything Adobe and its derivatives (ie. ColdFusion, Model-Glue, Mach II, ByteSpring, etc). Your project would be very appropriate. Flex is not necessary. Although if you have a flex open source project, it should be there too.

Your idea about multiple layouts is a good one. I hadn't thought of that yet. However, I think I would have at some point. I'll see what I can do over the next several months. Unfortunately I am at a disadvantage because I am not all that clear on Model-Glue yet. I am trying to learn, however. And using your code to help me.

Thanks for opening the project.

Josen

Todd,
sorry haven't tested it under Scorpio yet.

Josen,
thanks for the input. I've been thinking of putting it on one of those forgey type things. Isn't RIA forge just for RIA's? Technically, I suppose I qualify now that I've added a flex image upload. :)

The checkbox idea sounds good. The other option would be to make several layouts available to each page and then select the layout you want to use for each page. Rather than limiting it to just the news. It's not really something I've had a need for and it does add to the complexity a bit. I really want to keep it simple, but I'd be keen to see what you come up with.

Cheers Josen, glad to help out where i can. I'll look into RIA forge. I've also opened up my RbMan project, so I may post that on there as well.
